    No baserunning indicators

    Weird problem here. I have baserunning help off. However, I have no button indicators that allow me to select individual baserunners. If I have a man on 2nd and I get a basehit, I just want to advance the runner from 2nd to home. Typically there would be a 'B' or 'X' button indicator in the runner window so that I can choose JUST the guy who is running from 2nd to 3rd and send him home.

    Well, I have no button indicator. All I have is the 1-2-3 or 4 that tells me where he's heading. I am absolutely positive that baserunning help is off.

    In the first game I played, I had the indicator. However, it hasn't been there in any other games.

    I've recently deleted all my game saves and cleared my cache hoping that it would fix it, but the indicators are still not there.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks.

    360 version?

    A = Batter
    B = Guy starting from 1st
    Y = 2nd
    X = 3rd

    So nice of them to make it clear, lol

      when you turn off the turbo baserunner option the icons go away for some reason. Also, even if you turn off the turbo you can still get a speed burst by mashing the buttons. So all the option to turn it off does is get rid of the icons. typical of this game.

        Yeah, the same thing happend to me last night, so I turned the baserunning help and turbo back on. I'm getting real close to trading this game in. I think I can play some NCAA 2006 for the next two months until the new one comes out.

          Re: No baserunning indicators

          I think if you turn Base running speed boost off you don't get the icons anymore. You can always leave it on (speed boost) but just don't use it. If you are like me I don't like that stuff.

          But like Bryan said, think of your controller buttons like the baseball diamond. The confusing part (easy once you get used to it) is if your guys is on first, he will be the "B" button, even after he has rounded 2b or 3b. So it's base where the runner actually starts from and stays that way until the play is finished.
