    Question Regarding Hitting

    When using classic hitting mode...

If you pull the left stick to the up and left (assuming you're hitting right-handed), will that yield a better chance for a longball regardless of where the pitch is thrown?

Or do you have a better chance to hit a homerun by having the cursor right where the pitch is thrown?

    Re: Question Regarding Hitting

    Its a little of both.

If the pitch is inside then yes. Because you will be pulling the ball to the left, but if the pitch was outside you will probably just hit a grounder to the 3rd basemen.

After the pitch is thrown if you push UP you are more likely to hit a HR. I had Chavez (lefty) golf a low and away pitch REAL deep by just pushing up

Yea, you can pull just about anything depending on batter skill level and your own ability.

Just like bryan_05 I've been able to golf a few knee-high pitches very deep.
