Am I missing anything w/out the HD?!

Is the game somehow better with the hard drive than without? Faster load times? Smoother gameplay? More cutscenes?

How does 2K6 360 specifically use the HD?

My man, you're fine just the way you are w/o a HD. Only thing you get with the HD is freezes.

Interesting, so 2k6 uses the MU the same as it would the HD. Bummer, was kinda hoping the ticker, more season and game stats were hidden w/out the HD. Gues they are just plain not there at all.

during a game in game stats/game history........ you get replays of every play during the game. So in the 8th inning for example, you could go to a play in the 2nd and watch it.
I am sure several other perks are there for the HDD too.

I wanted to know the same thing. I'm pretty sure us non-HD owners are missing out on a lot of the cutscenes.

I don't get replays at the end of innings, and I only get in-game replays maybe 2x a game. I've got all the options turned on, and cutscenes on frequent, so I have to assume its the lack of a HD.

Adding on to this, they also feature automatic Flashback Highlights that are only HDD compatible.

Flashback as in " Ramirez is at the plate, with bases loaded, flasback to 15 april ____REPLAY_____ Ramirez crushed a ball for a grand slam _____ BACK TO THE GAME_______" That type of flashback?

No, i think he means "Ramirez hit a triple earlier today and is 2-3 *replay* back to game"
