I also noticed that putting a player at DH seems to deplete their stamina at the same rate as if they were playing in the field. I tried switching a couple guys into the DH role to keep their stamina levels up but they still were depleted by seemingly the same amount as the other guys who played in the field. Can someone confirm this?

Is player fatigue broken?
I played a few games into my season and I noticed that players start to fatigue after a few games. This is good. Then I had a day off and I noticed that none of the position players' stamina improved over the day off. I also noticed that Halladay had pitched the game before and his stamina was still at 0% after the day off. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
Fatigue seems fine to me. They don't recover to 100% by just having a day off. I think the lower the number gets, the longer it takes them to recover.............I am not sure about the DH thing since I play in the NlMy Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
Well I mentioned this in a gamefaqs thread but I'm playing a fantasy draft franchise and my hitter don't fatigue at all. I made sure that hitter fatigue was on when I started and tried it with 2 different fantasy draft teams and the hitters stay a constant 100%. Then I tried a regular franchise with the Mariners and the hitters got fatigued like they should. Anyone else notcie this? Am I missing something?Comment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
I know they shouldn't recover to 100% because of one day off. But they didn't recover at all after 1 day off. As I said, my pitcher was still at 0% after the day off. My catcher was at 80% and stayed at 80% after the day off. So is this consistant with other people?
Also, players seem to tire at the same rate when they are DH.Comment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
On ,y franchise my team was all at about 70%. Had a day off. No one appeared recovered after one day off. The next day I had a game and subbed in all the bench guys I had. The next game everyone's energy was at 100% or a little less, even all the bench guys who had just played the night before. Who knows whats going on with the fatigue.Comment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
Well that may be what happened to me. I didn't really pay attention to the game after the day off. But it seems as though a day off does help your team at all. This really throws off the pitching rotation and essentially forces you to pitch your 5th starter every time through.
Can someone verify if this bug was in 2k5 as well?Comment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
i think it might be broken in GM career because i am 21 games into my season and not 1 player other then a pitcher has had their fatigue under 100% and i made sure i put that option to on, so like last year they messed that up again..............i did have somthing wierd happen to me today tho, went to get a pinch hitter in the 9th and 4 of my bench players were blinking yellow, not a clue what that means, pretty sad if my bench players are tired thoComment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
Goofy thing happened in my franchise today. I was playing the last of a 4 game series and deicded to once again sub in all the bench guys. I have only been using the bench to pinch hit and had the starteds (Dodgers) start the previous 3 games against the Giants. Anyway, one of my bench players who had not even pinched hit in 2 games had 15% stamina. W??? Once again, who knows.Comment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
I am having the same problem. No one is dropping below 100% except pitcher's and I too made sure it was on when I started the franchise. Does it take a few games before they begin to drop? I have started three or four frachises now an still nothing.Comment

There was a guy posted yesterday that he was playing a Tigers GM Career. Said he was about a month into the season and all his everyday guys were in the 30-40% range on fatigue. I told him to check his Trainer's ratings and what he had him focusing on. He has a terrible Trainer with a D- in Durability.
Good luck to the rest of ya...Last edited by RGmoney; 04-23-2006, 10:03 AM.Comment

Re: Is player fatigue broken?
Originally posted by joebooOdd. I have the 360 version and fatigue is working very well. Both batters/pitchers are fatiguing at a realistic rate.
CPU pitchers seem to fatigue too fast though. I'm still tweaking that.
Does it take a little while into the season before they start even dropping under 100%?Comment

Most of my other position players were in the high 80's to low 90's after 4 games.Comment
