Question about the Prospects in this game..

I feel like there are prospects in this game that have played an MLB game (meaning that they're not in the MLBPA). This has never been the case in a baseball video game, so my question is did they use the exclusive liscence to create all realistic minor leaguers, or am I delusional? Also, if these guys are true minor leaguers, are there also fake ones in the game or no?

And for those that have downloaded updated rosters, are there no fictional players and realistic prospects?

    Thanks for any help.

I do not know about most teams. However, I am familiar with the Dodgers. They left out many prospects which are considered top prospects. They did put in some so it could be a random kind of thing. In case you have not kept up with the progression talk, prospects may be for naught. The players do not progress much through out the game from season to season. Therefore, there is no need to worry about your farm, which sucks donkeys.

I know that for the Orioles they made Nick Markakis, who is actually on the team, a 29 rating or something like that. Ridiculous.

You're right bigboi_03. They do have players that have never played a game in he Majors and aren't in the MLBPA. I'm not sure how since in the past we were always told if the player isn't part of the MLBPA yet, they can't be in the game.

I know on the Pirates they have their 2 top prospects and neither has played above AA. The one guy (Andrew McCutchen) was drafted last year out of high school.
