Re: Stutter solutions?
No go. And it seems that clearing the cache would defeat the purpose of the cache. Thought that was in place to keep textures readily accessable to spead the loading of them.
Seems like on the 360 is bringing PC plagues IE stutters and lower frame rates to the world of consoles. Only thing is, the PC world has the option of disabling certain functions to reduce the problem.
I sure hope this isn't a trend for 360 games. And I am really hoping and praying that the upcoming patch miraculously addresses this.Comment

Are you guys using the default display properties? I have heard rumors that If you are using low zoom you can get some stuttering in the batting animations. I have been using the default and not having a problem yet.
At least as a Cubby fan you are used to disappointmentComment

Re: Stutter solutions?
I don't set my expectations to high, so I am rarely dissapointed, but I am a bit bummed =)
I have the batting view set to "no zoom" with the view set to 70. Sometimes I get some lag, sometimes I don't.
Had to take off broadcast presentation due to the stutters, and the fact that the broadcast cam is set behind the backstop net in some ball parks (how did THAT make it past QA!)
Seems as though the 360 can't handle the incredible (sarcasm) graphics of this game. More than one player on screen also results in a "slo mo" effect.
Perhaps the drawing and rendering software simply needs some optimizing.....hint hint. All around, this thing simply needs a new developer.Comment

Re: Stutter solutions?
I can respect your opinion and I agree with some of what you are saying. Its funny that once I got it to stop freezing I just ignored some things and said at least it isnt freezing up hehe. Overall I like it a lot and can't wait to see MLB 2k7. One thing I think a lot of people forget is that this is a new system and it seems to me that If the game wouldn't have been a ported version it would've turned out sooo much better. The games that were made for the 360 (ie Oblivion, Condemned, DOR 4) had amazing graphics and smart AI. By this time next year PS3 and the revolution will be released so I think a lot of these problems will go bye bye and alot of little things will improve. The games won't have to be dumbed down for current gen systems. Just my 2 centsComment
