Originally posted by dirtbag25I'm just curious. In your opinion, what kind of strategy does Inside Edge give you? I'm not bashing it by any means, but I am intrested in knowing how the CPU calling pitches for you "adds strategy"???? He's telling you were to pitch the ball and you pitch it there. Basically what this means to me is you don't have to think. To create strategy you have to think. If you're not thinking then your not strategizing. To me this is really no different then having the CPU pitch for you.Comment

Re: Candyman Reviews MLB2K6 360
Originally posted by totalownershipNot exactly true. The IE pitch calling is not 100 percent. I've put that ball where they said and got smoked. You have to decide if you're going with the IE or if you wanna call it off and pitch somewhere else.
The depth of the scouting reports is soo deep, that saying it's just the CPU telling you where to pitch doesn't do it anyhing near the justice it deserves.Comment

Re: Candyman Reviews MLB2K6 360
Originally posted by bigfnjoe96Nice page mman19. The stats seem to look good after 7 games. I f your offensive #'s stay looking high after another 5 games, lower Human Power to 23.
By the way, I didn't know Kush was on this game for that long. Technically, how long have they been the head of the game during the developing process??Comment

Originally posted by bkrich83Not to mention IE is sooooo much more than showing you were to pitch. The detail of the scouting reports for example you would know player a likes to jump at fastballs early in the count. You might know he chases pitches down and away late in the count. You might see that a guy pulls ground balls, but hits flyballs opposite more, so you adjust you defense.

Re: Candyman Reviews MLB2K6 360
One thing I didn't realize. If you go to game history, you can scroll through the results of all the atbats. If select an At bat and hit a you can watch a replay of the at bat. So basically you can watch a replay of any at bat in the game.Comment

Re: Candyman Reviews MLB2K6 360
Originally posted by totalownershipSo if you're up to bat you can get some "signs" from the batting coach (if you think of it like that) about what could possibly come.
Personally I don't like IE turned on during the game for me (it's on for the CPU batters/pitchers though). I don't want to know the % of a pitch that's coming and I don't want my catchers calling the game. I'm already shutting down the CPU hitters (bigfnjoe's sliders and Heelfan's) just by using my advanced knowledge of pitching.
With that said, with it turned off during games, it still gives you all the information mentioned on each players card. I can check the lineup to see data on my batters/pitchers and the CPU batters/pitchers. That's what I wanted from day 1. Not a crutch to show some how to pitch.
The game history feature is cool. I saw it while messing around. Very nice feature if one wants to go back to see a sequence of play(s).Comment

I personally would give them another DEVELOPMENT CYCLE, before calling for their heads. That's me though..N.Y Mets

Originally posted by FootballForeverJOe, the bottom line, KUSH is just bad, remember when they made the hokey at one point, they killes it. KUSH does need to be fired.
This game keeps on locking up my system, I'm done with MLB2K6 for good. The first copy of the game never froze on me, but I lost replays. Now it just freezes like no tomorrow.
I'm sticking with MLB06, I wanted 2 bball games but I guess not.
KUSH has a lot to do with it, but so does MS w/ this cache issue that they need to figure out.Comment
