Outfield ARMS - CPU

I have started my settings from Rookie setting like everyone says to do and last night Mora hits a ball to dead center at Comerica, Logan jumps up and robs HR so I tag and Roberts is gunned down at plate with plenty of time to spare?? HELP!!!! Any other options out there?? Will changing all player arms to 0 do anything?

I'm having the same issue. I was planning on adjusting sliders on the Rookie level to fix this, but now I'm not sure it's worth it.

Doubles are fine, but I hate not being able to score from 2B on a single with a fast baserunner.

i have scored that way but you have to be ready to hit the Y button (guy on second) and L trigger to advance him home as soon as you know its going to be a hit and then cross your fingers

That's definately part of my problem.

I still fumble around with the controller at times when it comes to baserunning!

I would say that the problem is no one should be able to throw a frozen rope from the 440 sign to home plate on the fly LOL.

That bites. I guess i'll never actually get to see a triple. I'm sure they have plenty for simmers.

I hit a triple a couple of nights ago with Khalil Greene.

Way to go bk!!! That's great. It's tough getting three bases with those hyper-fueled outfielder arms.

MY thumb hurts from tapping 'A'

I have scored from 1st on doubles, scored from 2nd on a bloop single last night. Using BigFnJoes sliders.

Now, they are still over done, but the sliders do even things out a bit. Key is to remember the baserunning controls.

THis game has lots of little quirks and does need to be improved next year, but I am still having a lot of fun with it. Can't explain it.

bk, just checked your dynasty page and looks like your getting yourself ready to start your franchise. Page is set up but i see you aren't going with Carlos Delgado to start. It's ok. Old men can't play everyday!

yeah I wanted to start a new one, with regular teams instead of a fantasy draft team. I spent some time updating rosters, and re-naming the unnamed players to their actual names. Then started a GM career.

Since I am boycotting the Padres, for various reasons, I decided to randomly select what team I would work for, and I ended up with the Tigers. So now I am the GM of the Detroit Tigers. Expect an dynasty update tonight or tomorrow.

Man, that's one thing i didn't do was to change the fake players. I did use/change blzrs batting stance chart. Good luck with Detroit. I have two Tigers on my Yahoo fantasy baseball team.

There's a good thread at the 2ksports forums with the fake player names. I just changed the ones that mattered. Retired players or players that would be forever FA's I didn't worry about.
