i started a GM Career with the Cincinnati Reds and Ken Griffey was at first my hottest player going. all of a sudden, his player rating (not his morale) took a nose dive. he's batting .421 with 8 homers and 16 rbi's and his morale is to the max. within like a week, he went from being rated a 95 to a 48. it's only been him. other players have changed a few points but to drop from a 95 to 48 when ur doing so good is ridiculous. it has to be some kind of error. has this happened to anybody else??

Yeah it happend to me. I made him the team captian and he was rated a 100 overall, and then in the 2nd week of games, he dropped down to a 75. I dont understand what happend. Is it just him, or are there any other players that mysteriously drop?Originally posted by ishotlove

It happened to me, too. I was in a GM Career with the Braves. I had a monster year with Andruw Jones, hit 51 HRs, won the MVP and the WS. I think Jones was rated high 90s or maybe even 100, but somehow the following year his rating decreased all the way to a 77. That year Jones hit about 30 hrs yet his rating kept decreasing repeatedly. By the time the year was over, I think he was down to a 62 despite hitting 30 hrs and winning the Gold Glove and Silver Slugger.Originally posted by ishotlove

so far in mlb 2k6 nothin has gone wrong with junior in my dynasty except sometimes, like 2-3 games out of 35 so far some at bats wont record, so if he goes 2-4 in a game, will only record like 1-2 its weirdComment

I have tried Franchise and GM Career and I like GM Career. The owner gives you goals and when you complete them you get an increase in spending. Plus at the begining of your career whatever team you pick is automatically $10 million under the spending limit.Originally posted by thenbagamerComment
