Now the bad.....I can't stand the fielding. It is p i s s i n g me off to no end how long it takes my fielders to throw the ball! I am pulling the right trigger and holding down the button, rather than tapping it for the corresponding base. CPU is constantly beating out hits and DP's are almost impossible. Also, the new collision graphics are awful. I think w/ 2k working on this for next year could be pretty sweet....but right now it is a joke. Gonzalez picks up the ball to flip to lLoretta and they are nowhere near the Ump at 2nd yet they both fall on the ground and start flapping like fish on deset sand, then when they get up it is impossible for them to pick up the ball. Varitek getting ready to catch a popup just falls over w/ no one near him. Lastly not to complain too much but the momentum feature I cannot get to work. I know I am in the minority on this one because alot of people like this feature, but I am giving up so many cheap inside the park HR's and missing fly balls because Coco and Trot are constantly being spun around. After you make a slightly wrong angle for a ball it is impossible to adjust. I am moving the stick alot slower than before to compensate but I am still getting to many screwups by my outfielders. I wish they had a training video or at least gave you the option to use these in a practice mode or even just talked about in the manual, because I suck at this and I am losing some real great close games on bogus plays late in the game. Sorry for the rant, love the game. If anyone has any advice on fielding or moving my outfielders I would welcome any advice because if I can somehow get these 2 features to work the game would be perfect. Thanks

My 2 cents....
Just want to say 1st off I love this game. I think the pitching interface is amazing! Breakpoint w/ the strike zone turned off makes it seem like you are watching a real game on T.V. Also the stamina being as low as they are means you have to manage your pitchers and also your bullpen. I think it is great that Schilling starts to get fatigued after 6 innings. Batting w/ the swing stick took a little getting use to. Still a little too easy even w/ contact and power both at 0. The scouting reports and the payoff pitching and the ability to move and position your catcher are all great features that should really evolve next year.....Hats off to all these features, game is alot more enjoyable than last year. Working w/ some pretty tough sliders that are making the game real challenging right now, currently 18-15 w/ my Red Sox.

Re: My 2 cents....
Nice post and I feel your pain on the momentum. I've since learned to wait until the correct fielder is automatically moved to the direction and take over from there. If you flick on the stick before you even know where the ball is located, you may be in for some trouble because it is impossible to turn completely around and head back in the direction you want to go if you misjudged a flyball.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group) -

I love it as well. There's just those times when you take the wrong angle on a ball or misjudge a fly ball and the cpu runners jet around the bases giving up runs that should'nt be.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: My 2 cents....
I love the momentum too. Finally getting the hang of not running into the wall and falling down and the cpu getting a inside the park hr.Comment
