does the "he had no homers no rbis" go away in year 2 of franchise?

I heard the new rosters fix this annoying line from happening, but I made so many changes to the old rosters (and only stern got added to the redsox in the new one) I want to keep using my current franchise rosters.

So I was wondering, once the second season starts do they correctly announce how many homers and rbi's a player had last year since it was played through and hopefully stored, or is it still "no homers no rbi's"? anyone check this out? thanks...

Can someone else confirm taht teh latest roster fix corrects this problem. I am in the same boat, since I created 25 players and would hate to have to do it again. Maybe the patch will correct this as well.

new roster fix does not correct the problem. on a weird side note, the "no homers and no rbis" thing isn't for all players. for instance, when i signed clemens they casually said "he had 13 wins last year."

I just started my second season in GM mode and they don't say that anymore. They actully say there stats from the previous season.

I'm still in my first season (because of school-related issues, I haven't played the game in three weeks). Anyway, I'm in June, and they're finally discussing stats from this year. Don't know about later years, but according to dwohlwinder, they say stats from the previous season.
