if your already playing a franchise will the patch have any affect on it..........or should everyone wait for the patch before they start their franchise?

it wont effect your current chise, you will have to restart.

i dunno i thought peeps were saying that when they downloaded the nba2k patch it didnt effect their chise?

Likely, it wouldn't affect your franchise, as this is dealing with a low-level issue - cache.
