I apologize because I'm sure this was already discussed a few weeks ago, but it feels like the fielding is being controlled by the CPU. Is there any way that I can manually do this? Thanks!

If you mean the way the CPU initially moves your fielders after the ball is hit: no -- that's programmed into the game. And it happens on every difficulty level. It was part of last year's game as well: "web gems", they were called. At least this year the CPU relinquishes control of the player after a few steps. Last year it just went ahead and completed the play for you, without you ever having to touch the controls.Originally posted by davehughes14Comment

Man I suck at this game....I haven't played a Baseball game since Playstation 1 and they have advanced quite alot since then....the graphics could be better but the gameplay seems fun once you get the hang of it....of course I'm being the Twins so I need to rely on my pitching and fielding and the computer throws me off because they start running twards the ball so I figured I'd let them do it and then he stops then I took control but they already scored a run on me because I didn't make it to the ball on time and the players control wierd in the field*L*....yeah I need to work on my fielding, but I think the gameplay is pretty fun and I haven't had any problems with freezeups yet and don't have Live, so I can't get the update...but I haven't needed it yet.
Oh and I got the game off of Gamefly, I might buy it from Amazon for $25...Comment
