PS2 or XBOX 360?
For those of you who have a REAL good read on how this game operates on different platforms, tell me, which one will play this game with the LEAST amount of drama?

Re: PS2 or XBOX 360?
I had the game for ps2. didn't really like it. I went back to MVP and MVP for pc but that has gotten old. The I bought MLB 06 the show and that bored me to death.
Last week I got a 360. and this week I picked up MLB 2k6 and it seems better. If nothing else the presentation seems better and the graphics are nicer too (obviously) Also with the 360 version u get oppertunitys for patches. The 360 version has more music too. At least more music than the ps2 version.
Right now I am using BIGFNJOES pro realism sliders and am enjoying it so far. I have never liked sliders before so that is both a complement to his slider work and a insult to Kush for not making this game playable out of the box.
I have noticed a lot of differences in the hameplay between both.
Pitching- seems like on all star defualt. batters actually chased pitches on the 360. didnt see that in ps2.
Batting- The batter respnse with the swing sticjk seems to take longer or lag with the 360
Fielding- The fielders seem more in control on the 350. I havent once seen a fileder bounce off the wall on the 360, when I saw it all the time on ps2
Base running- On defualt ps2 I could steal bases with ease. on 360 the runners move much slower on defualt. But thats fixable wit sliders.
Overall, I would give the nod to the 360. the nicer graphics and better presentation. ( I havent heard "he had no RBIs and no HRs last season yet and I heard it non stop on ps2.) Tighter gameplay and xbox live.
I enjoy the 360 version more.
sorrry to rant..
Hope that helped.
All just my opinion. -
Re: PS2 or XBOX 360?
ok nevermind. The 360 version does still have the 0 hr and 0 rbis thing. just not as noticable. Still think its the better version. but honestly, the rocket arms are making me want to go back to MVP again. I just really wanted a game for my 360Comment

Not a rant at all. I appreciate the time you took to fill me in from your perspective. I am still playing MVP 2005, I bought The Show the day it came out and played only two games with it. And like I previously mentioned, I bought 2K6 yesterday afternoon. Haven't put it in the PS2 yet..... ;-)
