    High changeups = No-Nos?

    Hi
Just got the game on friday and been playing quite a bit. Really like it and some of the commentary is great (I lost control of my curve during a 6 inning no-hitter and plunked 2 batters, ended up getting thrown out... Morgan actually made a comment on how it was stupid to throw out a pitcher when they were in the middle of a no-no which was very cool)...

However, I've noticed something where you can basically induce an infield to shallow outfield popup or lot's of K's if you have a pitcher with a changeup high out of the strike zone. The CPU tended to either whif on the ball completely (80%) or just pop up (15%) the ball as I threw changeup after changeup (it never figured out that I was doing the same pitch over and over). Only person who was immune was Abreu (who I ended up walking) which might be due to his rating. Tested this in a situation batting with the Phillies vs Phillies through 6 innings using Lieber, Rhodes and Santana and their changeups. Difficulty was All-Star with default sliders.

Anybody else have this experience? I'll probably tweak the CPU hitting sliders, but I like the number of K's right now (avg 5-10 with 1-3BB depending on pitcher) and hesitate to mess with that.

    thx!

Someone else noticed the CPU fans on high heat outside the stirkezone as well. He then maxed CPU Take sliders to see if it made any difference, and apparently it didn't. 2K5 had the same problem unfortunately.
