    mlb 2k5 or mlb 2k6(xbox)

    i don't no which one to get. I would naturally go with 2k6, but i hear that it is all glitched up and the game always freezes. I also hear that the rosters are all messed up, but i have action replay so that isn't an issue. I might get 2k5 because it doesn't have as many bugs and glitches, it doesn't freeze and it has great reviews. i could download the opening day rosters for 2k5 and thats good enough for me. This is my first baseball game so which one should i get?

      Honestly I'd go with 2k3 or 2k4.


      k5 and k6 are pretty damn messy but k3 and k4 were both great games, IMO.

          2K6. There are many more things ironed out, and it's much more appealing to me. The defensive side of the ball is really a hit-or-miss: either you enjoy momentum in baseball games or you don't.

          I'd just go with 2K6 if any.

              What type of hitting and pitching interface do you prefer? That would be something to consider. 2k5 has classic pitching, effort, meter and k-zone. 2K6 has payoff and k-zone. 2K5 has classic 2 button zone hitting. 2k6 has swing stick and 1 button, both of which are primarilly timed hitting and not zone.

              Also, the CPU lineup problems that are in both games can only be fixed in 2K5. That's because they took out the season mode option to control all teams in 2K6.

              And I wouldn't use IE in 2K6 as a factor in your decision. It's a good idea, poorly implemented.

                          MLB 2K4 is better. I am playing yet another season in MLB 2K4.

                              get mvp 2005 then download the updated rosters from this site.

                                      2k6 because its so much better than 2k5. I play it alot more. I had 2k5 on ps2 and i mean i hated it. i just bought it because it was 20. It was to effective to get k's while pitching. In 2k6 you get better hitting/pitching interefaces
