Re: Is this game better than MVP 05
After you rid the game of the freezes I think that this game plays rather well. The fielding leaves something to be desired at times but I do think that it's more realistic than MVP with the fielding. The fielding should be difficult. Forget what you see in the highlights on sportcenter. Those plays are highlights for a reason, they are hard to pull off and should be hard in a game as well. The arcade feel of MVP is what some people like. If you want stale graphics and arcade ball play MVP, if you can look past some bugs (no hrs and no rbi's for example) and want more realism go with mlb 2k6. Just my 2 cents.Comment

I agree with you Jitters for the most part. Fielding should be difficult and you hit it spot on with your opinion about highlights on tv. Isn't it just a 30 minute show-including commercials) on ESPN? (baseball tonight) Plus this game has the best pitching interface I've ever used and I played em' all. I'm using the zone N0.2 cursor and wouldn't go to something else now. As for RBI's and HR's-for me-it depends on the team that I use-who I play against-and the park I'm in. I couldn't buy a homer at Dodger Stadium. But the wind helped me out at the Giants Stadium last game I played and popped 3 over the fence. BTW-I'm using the Padres and Cameron is on a hot streak at the moment too. Anyway-good game here and I'm playing every single one.ByurrulzIdon'tfollowComment
