Thome playing cf?

Using bigfnjoes sliders this game became playable so I decided to start a 40 game franchise with the Indians because I dont have alot of spare time well the third game into the season against the Whitesox they have Jim Thome playing cf! Not trying to start a bad thread Im just very frustrated.

Wow, never noticed anything like that so far in my game.

Was he starting at center or did they sub him in later?

2K5 had the same lineup issues. Typical was Frank Thomas being inserted into the SS position. The problem is the ratings in 2K baseball are all skewed towards offense. Defensive ratings mean next-to-nothing, so the CPU will stick big bats in the lineup, regardless of the player's defensive abilities in any particular position.

He started the game in cf and finished the game in cf.

thegame has become so crappy when you start to simulate..which i love to do...that i have to force myself to play it...luckily i got it for $35..which is still too expensive for it. I think im going to trade it in.

Yeah there is some crazy stuff i seen Troy Glaus playing 2nd for the Bluejays and there was others i seen playin out of position

They should add a team needs type thing sorta like nfl 2k used to have and nba 2k has so you never stuck with this stuff

I erased my 40 game season and started a 162 game franchise and so far I havent seen anyone playing out of position Im 8 games into the season and Im really having fun with this game.I think its a good game if you take the time to learn to play and find the right sliders.

The lineups for the computer are so messed up. I played the Braves the other day and Renteria was batting cleanup while Andruw Jones batted second. I think Chipper also led off. This game is fun, but this kind of little stuff is killing me.

Don't feel bad, in my franchise the Cards have Albert Pujols in AAA! And the Pirates have Jason Bay in AAA as well. This kind of crap is beyond ridiculous.
