    An overlooked feature

One of things that I like about the GM mode is the ability to change teams. I played a Yankee season an won the world series as the wild card team (going down to the last day). It was an awesome WS with The Cards, but we took it in 6. Anyway, after winning the WS, what is there to do? Sign better guys and win again?

So, I quit and signed a deal with the Pirates who won 54 games in 06. So, instead of playing 06 over, I get to continue my career. That is a great feature that I don't think other baseball games in the past have (I know 2k had it for the past year or 2).

BTW--I am 0-4 in my new season. No hitting whatsoever and bad fielding. My "big" free agent signings of Bronson Arroyo and Jason Frasor, along with my big trades for Rocco Balldelli (dealt Perez, Duffy, and a ML) and Juan Rivera haven't paid off yet.

My old team--well, the Yanks signed Carpenter, Oswalt, KRod, and resigned Dontrelle (who I got at the deadline in 06 for Phillip Hughes and 2 other guys who I forget right now). I guess they'll be ok without me. LOL.

Anyway sorry for the rambling, but I just thought that this is a great little feature.

Do you use the pro or legend sliders?

For 90 percent of the season I have used Heelfan's pro sliders. They seem to give a good variety and a nice flow. If they become too easy, which they haven't yet, I will use Joe's legend sliders.
