Franchise Glitch

I played through a 40 game season and when I got to the playoffs it only had one game series all the way through. I was a little pissed, but I figured that I had missed some option along the way. I don't think so, but maybe I did b/c I haven't gone back and looked to see if you can change that. Either way I don't think that one game playoff series should be the default. Who does that?

Anyway, I play through the playoffs and do the offseason stuff. When I go to start my next season (2007), for some reason it has been shortened to a 10-20 game season (I didn't count) that only spans the last day of March and part of April. Needless to say, I'm pissed. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I don't play a whole lot so a 40 game season takes a while for me. When I got to the end of it and this crap happened it seemed like a waste of time. I don't even feel like playing anymore.

I hope not, but in my current season, it won't matter anyway. I will not make the playoffs unless I go on a 40 game winning streak. Just like the real Indians.

The one game playoff glitch happens when any teams are tied at the end of the season, and have to play a one-game playoff. One fix someone suggested was to save before the season ends, and reload the save if two teams end up tied.

Someone also mentioned the 10 game season glitch happened to them after their 162 game season ended, so yes to that question apparently.

Somebody reported this once, and... believing him... I tried to simulate through my first season. It happened to me, too. Other people say that it's random, so reload and try again.

Since I play every game of my franchise, I'm still not past my first season... so I still have to fear what is possibly upcoming. However, I guess I'll keep reloading until it occurs the correct way (that, or I guess I'll be playing 10-game seasons).
