Popping up bunts in Baseburner mode?

I can't tell you the amount of times that I've popped up bunts when trying to do a squeeze play, bunt and run... whatever. I can't ever get it DOWN. It always pops up, and they catch it. Sacrificing them is tough!

Anyway, I just found out what to do... show it late. As the pitch is coming in, NOW press up. Don't press it earlier.

If that was bothering anybody else like it has for me, there you go.

I knew that all along but when I squeeze bunt, I switch to the base runner instead and let the computer do the bunting. Find it more exciting that way. You just have to be careful they don't pop out and turn two.

No no, that's what I'm talking about. That's why I said in Baseburner mode. This doesn't apply to being the batter.

Oh, my bad, I misread that. Never thought of pressing up at the last second. I'll try that out next time I play, thanks.

How do you switch to baseburner mode? I somehow did it accidentally last night

            On Xbox, press B.

            On PlayStation 2, press Circle.

            On Gamecube.............. :y4:

I'm sorry, but I just can't believe that system does sports games.
