I need help with WSB, please!

Is almost time for baseball games, i'm starting to think about it, MVP is getting my attention, but, WSB was good last year, unafortunaly I don't have a XBOX, so, I never ever seen WSB in action last year, but I have WSB 2K2 for Dreamcast and is not that good, in fact, is a bad baseball game, I want to know if all the bad issues from 2K2 are gone on last year edition, so, WSB owners can help me, thanks in advance.

- fielding ground balls is almost impossible
- almost all the hits are line drives, again, ground ball past the infield too fast with no time to react
- no cut-off man
- no jumping button
- very slow and floating pitching
- graphics ok, nothing to get exited
- sound and play by play very bad

all this flaws are from WSB 2K2 for Dreamcast, since WSB for XBOX and 2K3 are upgrades from this edition I want to know if they are gone or not.

WSB fixes most of those problems listed and by the sound of the Q/A...WSB 2K3 fixes the rest

the answers are based on WSB (not WSB 2K3)

1. yes u can field ground balls--not all though (like it should be)

2.there are a wider variety of hits...bloops...line drives...dribblers...rocket shots

3. there is a cut-off man....its not really that great....when a throw comes in from the OF u tap on the corresponding bag/button..the relay man then throws it to that bag.
acc to interview right here though...cut-off system for 2K3 is even better

4. no jump button--there is one in 2K3 though!!!!

5. pitch speeds are not slow (at least not the setting i use)

6. GFX are FANTASTIC (again this is base on WSB which was on XBOX only last year)
this years version has HDTV support for XBOX!!!!!!!

7. the sound is in DD5.1 (again xbox) and is fantastic
the commentary....not gonna lie...i don't like TED R.....too
boring( even for a baseball game)

thanks a lot man! I'll be getting WSB 2K3 or MVP Baseball, either ways will be a new game for me and not an upgrade like HH or the boring ASB.

Same here i thought ASB was a little boring after hitting 10 homeruns a game i am very much looking foward to WSB this year
