The graphics are nice, but Im holding out to see if there is a decent camera angle for fielding. Without seeing a more "isometric/blimp/top down" feild of view, last year was very hard to judge the flight of the ball. Fielding was frustrating. At least with HH, I know I will have a good camera.

Post Movie-watching analysis:

The Good:
1. Graphics are crisp. Very pretty stuff.
2. Chavez homer angle was nice...showed pretty ball flight, and the stadium...very nice.
3. American flag was waving during game action.
4. Behind pitcher view is awesome.
5. Double play animations are perfect.

The ?'s-
1. Is the home run replay the same for every homerun?
2. Is there a user defined replay system?
3. Will there be a decent fielding camera this time?
4. Collision detection? the homerun balls went into the crowd, but what about foul poles and upper deck facades?

Game is looking good. For sure its a rental, possible buy. Im desperately hoping for more camera angles and collision detection, which is to say that most of the way more important issues have been implemented and are working fine. Can you imagine a baseball ricocheting off the upper deck in Yankee? or landing up there? Now that is realism.

this game looks awesome. The only thing that sticks out to me is some of the batting stances look awkward and everybody is whereing a centerfielders glove. Behind the pitcher view, Smaller strike zone, Espn presentation, being able to jump, some of the more noticeable things in the videos.

silver540i, supposedly there are more HR cut scenes this year and there was a nice user defined replay system last year. Thankfully, there won't be HR cut scenes on every HR. I hope there are not a ton of opposite field HRs this year. I know they happen but not as frequently as they did in last year's game. I saw 2 oppo bombs in the videos so...

I still hate the homerun views. It lacks excitement! I don't want to watch my batter replay from the pitcher's view.

Listen, everyone knows how much I hated Triple Play but the one thing that they did correctly was the homerun views! I don't know about you guys, but I hate cut scenes during my games cause they become repetitive, time consuming, and boring after the first day or two.
