Not a whole lot there, but it was something for us starving baseball gamers. Thanks.

      Re: Hands-on

Short and sweet. Not too much new, but pretty much says how batting, fielding, and pitching basics have been redefined. That, and just the good news of the game feeling a lot more solid.

I don't like the sound of the pace though, but I feel it will be ironed out later.

By the way, they deceive us with a "User Video". It's just the trailer... nothing more to see there. I was hoping for more media.

I'll like it if the pace is slowered somewhat. Makes it more like real baseball, which is a slower paced game.

What I mean by pace is I think they mean there are slowdown issues or framerate problems or something.

Well yeah if thats the case it wouldn't be good. But like you mentioned, they'll probably get it straightened out before release. My initial thought was that they were referring to the animations & pace maybe being slowed down to seem more lifelike. But I only played last yrs game once, so I can't remember how fast paced the 2k6 version was.

Yeah, I didn't see any framerate issues when I saw Alex play the game at CES. The slowdown I saw was like the pitchers windup in particular. It was like he was pitching in slow motion.
