BP would be a nice feature but a feature that would lose its luster quickly once you got a ways into the season if it were just a separate feature. My son would probably play the heck out of it. Like was mentioned, if BP performance carried over to the game that would be cool. With this, the law of probability would have to come into play where a good bp session might actually result in a poor hitting performance. It happens.

How about this idea that would go with BP:a Bullpen session with your starting pitcher, again connected with their game results, which also could go either way.

Those two features would add a ton to a season mode (if done correctly).

Gotta agree with Jim here. There are still some gameplay/franchise issues to work out first. I think Brinkman is on that path (gameplay first) so I don't think this would be on the radar.

I always wanted this too, but what I always wanted more so was to have the ability to throw some warm-up pitches before the game or when you bring in a new pitcher to see what kind of stuff he has and how his pitches break, etc.

The Japanese Baseball game allows you to throw a few warm up tosses when a new pitcher comes in. That was pretty cool.

Yeah, it's gotta be done right. If so, it would an be perfect addition to any baseball game. Obviously, there should be an option to skip it.

I think this would be good if each pitchers controls were slightly different. For instance if you had to line something up with the sticks and each pitchers spot was different. Just throwing to throw wouldnt appeal to me.

Correct me if im wrong but was natural motion in AP 2k8 this year. Only played a few games since I rented it and it did look really good in my mind..Would be cool to see it implemented in MLB 2k8
