Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
I think jim heard Dave Campbell's repeated echo that bounced off "The Show"
and landed on the 2K7 forum...
That's OK jim, I think we have all done the same...
I know for sure that Dave Campbell repeatedly apologized for this mishap...

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
I would like to know if 2K7 will announce the number of Home-Runs hit during the season?

What can us franchisers expect? The more info on the franchise mode the better!Comment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
1. Will players be able to throw to running players, and not have to wait for them to reach the bag first? (ala leading first baseman or pitcher to bag with throw)
2. Will they exit to the field to the proper dugout? (Boston is exiting to the visitor dugout in the first inning video)
http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/8390
3. Game is looking great! Can you compare it's gameplay to a current or past game so we can get an idea? (High Heat, MVP, TheShow)
4. Will there be a real minor league system, for call-ups/send-downs? (like MVP had)
5. Will pitchers warm-up visibly in the bullpen like MVP? (this is next gen, a game in 04' could do it)
6. Is there screens and nets behind home plate? (could not tell from videos, it helps immersion)
7. Can we use the vision cam to map our faces on a created player much like R6:Vegas? Or have a replay maker like NBA2K? (that would rock)Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 01-15-2007, 04:09 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
What classic or old stadiums are in the game? Will we be able to use them in home run derby and season modes, as well as exhibition? Thank you.Comment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
1. Have the "rocket arms" from the outfield been toned down this year?
2. Has the commentary of "He had no homeruns last year" etc. been fixed?
3. Some infield throwing animations last year were very bad. Has this been addressed?
4. Do the Royals have their alternate black jerseys this year? If not, why not? MVP had them in their '04 game.
5. Ball physics were not very good last year on many fly balls. How about this year?
6. This game has never had the pitching down to where walks would happen when when the person is pitching to the CPU. We really need this to happen. I need to be able to walk someone when I don't want to. How about this year?
Thanks.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
1. I second the question about walks- in 2K6, the computer would almost always hack at the first pitch in the strike zone even when the take pitch slider was maxed out.
2. Have throwing and fielding animations in the outfield been refined? They always seem a little awkward.
3. Has full minor league functionality been added to this game? Have the Rule 5 draft, arbitration, etc. been added to franchise mode?
That's it, looking good so far!

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
Im a real sucker for presentation and i was very dissapointed that all the walk-ups and cutscenes were eliminated for online play last year.
The cut-scenes and batter intros are looking VERY impressive so far. Will they be included in online play?
PLEASE?!?!?Comment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
i dont know as if you want cutscenes in online, it'll slow down the play like when you're playing madden onlinePSN : TALLERthanyou24Comment

Re: Major League Baseball 2K7 Interview Questions
This is what made MVP so darn fun online (had the PC version).
It feels way too rushed and arcady without them, and just have an option to turn them on or off online or press the A button to skip them.
The online portion made a not so good game of baseball, even more horrible. Felt like a tacked on multiplayer and very generic without all the bells and whistles.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
