Wow this thread has been very entertaining, I love how some guys are not going to buy the game if the Demo comes out last lol.. Oh well, I still think the game will be solid. So I can wait, sure it would be fun to have a demo, but I am sure it will be out before the game is released. You guys are great, you have made my day at the Jail very funny. Keep up with the great posts!

Since last year was incredibly sucked, how do you know that the gameplay will be solid? Do you have the demo and you are just holding out on us? No one knows anything about game play until they play it.

Its just hard to commit 60 dollars to a game that hasn't proven itself yet. If last years game was decent then I would pick this up without a second thought, but it wasnt. It was awful and I returned it a day after buying it. I just want some proof of substantial improvement before I throw down, haha.

Call me stupid but it has to be at least better then last years game. So yes I think it will be solid. Sure it will have it issues. Also, I trust Ben and the guy on here that play it at CES. So yes I know it will be solid. So there that is why I feel that way, but keep in mind I like last years game. It had it's problems, but I still like it!

True True True Show boy lol But I still think it will be. I think half the fun for me is all the build up. If it sucks oh well. There are other games to take its place. Like Hockey, Football just to name a few. That is why I like the internet, you can get your fill of hype! I like hype. Since this game was fun to last year it will be solid to me, but that is just for me not eveyone will feel that way. It is all good! Also, I am joking about the Showboy, Nem. I know you are like me and if this game is better you will be all over it!

Come on now does this game look crappier then last years? I guess I don't see it. All I can expect is a better game then last year if it is that I will be happy. Sure it has no where to go but up, so that is a good thing for them. The Show on the PS3 better be all that and a bag of chip. Because they have set that bar high. So yes 2k7 will be better then last year.

MLB 2K6 on Xbox 360 was a horrible game. Unplayable.

MLB 2K6 on Xbox was a solid game with slider adjustments and roster edits (in my mind it was/is terrific). There were still problems with players' throwing strength (and the Swing Stick is a mess in my mind regardless of how it's implemented), but it was playable.

It seems that MLB 2K7 for Xbox 360 and PS3 corrected everything that was wrong with the 360 version and right with the Xbox version and then did some more thereafter. Therefore, this game has now become "solid". I still have my own issues that I understand can be changed overtime, as long as they are aware that they are issues. In the meantime, I hope everybody enjoys MLB 2K7... because it's everything that MLB 2K6 (360) wasn't.

No, I haven't played it. How could I play it?

Let me put it this way: Aside from the game freezing, what other issues did people have with the game? "Rocket arms"? Fixed, and proven to be fixed via videos. Granted, people still may complain due to... other circumstances... but if they do I guarantee you they'll still call it "rocket arms".

What else was a problem? You guys tell me. What problems did you have with the game? From what we've seen/heard so far, most every concern has been addressed for you guys.

There are a few. I'll have to find the videos for you, but they have them.

I think that one problem that they've had with this series and following through is that they don't realize that you do not necessarily have to let go of the bat the instant you start running. As a matter of fact, most right handed hitters bring the bat back to the other side of their body and let go. There are also some lefties like Berkman that sort of just lay the bat down before they begin running.

At any rate, those issues are definitely not issues anymore. They look much better this year, and I think we've all seen enough videos to verify that.
