Re: Batting options
I'm not a big swing stick fan, but I gave up on 2k6 so fast last year I never gave it a chance to grow on me. I'm praying for the return of the old school cursor like I mentioned in the other thread, but I'm not holding my breath for it."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Batting options
The swing stick needs serious work - way too easy last year. But the real problem is they switched to timed/directional hitting ala MVP. I want to see the return of True Aim/zone hitting, which probably won't happen. Also, they stupidly removed two-button swinging, which would have been my hitting option of choice. And I doubt that will be returning as well. Add in the fact they removed classic pitching last year, and MLB 2K7 is a game I just may pass on this year.
BTW: their button hitting in 2K6 was not pure zone hitting either. It was a hybrid: swing with the button, influence the direction of the hit with the left stick.Last edited by baa7; 02-02-2007, 05:03 PM.Comment

Re: Batting options
Same here, I got tired of the freezes at first then just couldn't get into the game period. 2k6 was one of the worst baseball games I've ever played IMO, that said 2k7 looks to have made huge strides so I'm very excited and can't wait for March 5th to get here. In the short time I played though the swing stick wasn't one of my favorite features.Favorite Teams:
