    scoreboards in MLB 2k7

I am wondering if anybody has read or heard any rumors, if they are going to put real time scores on the scoreboards as your playing a game, say you are playing a game and you happen to hit a ball to the outfield, and you notice the scores, that those scores would be what is happening in the other games scheduled that day

    Any info would be great

Don't think it made it based on videos I've seen.

In fact, said videos also show some inconsistencies between the batter shown on the centerfield jumbotron and who is actually batting. I have'nt see these myself but others on OS have mentioned it in the forum.

          ROFL

This is a new record I think.

Normally the "live updating scoreboard" feature doesn't drop this late. Normally the second the first movie is released someone asks.

I hope the grass texture and warning track width discussion comes up soon.

Hmm, it took so long for baseball games to consistently include working scoreboards for the actual game being played. Never seen actual scores on the "other games" scorboards, let alone real-time ones according to your season/dynasty/franchise. Sure would be nice if they got those working in the next-gen versions, rather than using the same stock scores for every stadium.

That is what was so great about All Star Baseball they had working out of town scoreboards. I loved it. It was a trip to see the realtime scores of my franchise on the out of town boards.

The 360 version of MLB 2K6 had correct jumbotron stuff. They even went as far as to have the correct batter at the plate, his entire stat line displayed, and the actual in-game lineups that you are using in that game was on the jumbotron (in parks where lineups are displayed, like Cleveland for example). I bet it's the same for 2K7, but All-Star is like the only game that ever had those out-of-town scoreboards, correct?

One weird thing that is out there though is that there is a picture of Robinson Cano fielding a ground ball, but if you look over his shoulder you can see in the background a jumbotron and it says Cano! Weird.

I think they did that to show you that is who the player is. Just to show you how much he looks like him.

Maybe they're showing a fielding highlight while he's at bat & the jumbotron remains the same in the replay??? Its a theory!

My guess is that since they were obviously doing screenshots for recognizable players, the game was being played Yankees vs. Yankees so that on any nice play they'd have a good screen shot. Thus Cano could be batting for one team and feilding for another
