Seriously though it looks to be the best player models ever. Everyone looks there role in there girth and lack of, and it makes it exciting and interesting to see how everyone is going to look and play. It makes everyone seem more like an individual and makes you feel like you in control of the huge virtual Big Papi or the lanky Big Unit and it gives the game such an authentic look and feel. We get to be the manipulators of all these realistic virtual athletes and it makes me excited thinking about it. I'll be able to hit like Beltran and field like Griffey, yeah baby I'm looking forward to this game big time. Almost time to rob some homeruns.

I agree, but I wonder if this is the first year in a 2K game that the player's weight visually changes when you change their weight this year. For instance, ever since 2K2, the Weight that you give a player was always just a profile number. Not until 2K4 was there even any kind of player scaling, and in 2K5 and 2K6 scaling was done per body part. However, that's not enough. Sometimes people have different kinds of body proportions but are smaller than those other guys.

It's hard to explain what I mean, but let me put it this way: David Ortiz and C.C. Sabathia are both seemingly large players, but Ortiz is only 230 lbs and Sabathia is 290 lbs. Ortiz has a more muscular physique at the same time, and that makes up for the rest of his blub. Sabathia doesn't have as much.

Again, hard to explain... but basically, I hope that this year you can change the weight from 150 lbs to 300 lbs and actually see a difference.

The Red Sox may list David Ortiz at 6'4" and 230 pounds but he is NOT 230 pounds.

The Red Sox have had a history of shaving pounds off the weight of their heavier players.

Most team do that, they usually use their rookie weight info. For the longest time Bonds was listed at 210 lol. That is how they do it. It makes sense. I mean it is not like they weigh them every year so it ca be actuate lol!

Players receive physicals every year during spring training, at which time they are weighed. And yes, a lot of players/teams lie about the weights that go out publicly to Stats Inc. and the like.

lol What ever you say. I just find it funny they would care about their weight. Even with yearly physical. But it seems like a lot of teams lie then which I find funny. I promise if you weigh every player more then half will be wrong.

                      ortiz is at least 260.

i mean 230.. come on. ian kinsler is 210. the idea of a 20 pound difference between ian kinsler and david ortiz is amusing.

and yes, im very glad they fixed player scaling. it was AWFUL last year. ortiz was way too small. ichiro was too big.

they still dont seem to really have enough body types in general, but its much improved at least.

I hope you can edit a player's size in the minor leagues.
