Total editing control?

can we edit all players in our franchise modes? like we can do in ncca and nba 2k7?

i think being able to do this in mvp made it the best sports game ever

What about editing names of draftees in franchise mode? In NBA 2k7 you could edit everything but the name which kinda made me mad.

For the life of me I cannot understand why some things cannot be edited. It's bad enough in a game like Madden where you can't edit anything, but what's the logic behind allowing edits on some things and not others?

In the 2K basketball games this year, for example, why can't I edit my guys' shoes to black? Any more generally, why can you only change player appearences on some players? If the player model for someone (i.e. a real player) is too skinny, for example, why can I not put some pounds on him but I can with a created player?

Great to hear edits are in for this game, though.

announced name edit...
