    NAME DATABASE...

    Has anybody heard if 2K7 has added more first and last names to their NAME DATABASE?

      well i hope they have "BONDS" so we can edit mr.young and still have it said by j.morgan.

          Well they did in xbox version of MVP. It was cool to hear Mike k. say Barry Bonds is tearing up the leauge. I hope they did it to this year game.

              I agree I'd like to hear Barry Bonds' name said like "and Bonds goes for the hat trick"

                  well it would be gr8 to have "barry bonds" but if its only bonds ill be happy too..better than "now batting the left fielder number 25"

                                  Although Bonds was a great talent he spoiled his career and chances at breaking these records when he choose to take steroids.. IMO after he breaks these home-run records on paper, us true baseball fans will never be convinced! It's just disrespectfull to Hank Aaron and Roger Maris.In our hearts the following will stand:


                                  Single Season Record
                                  Roger Maris 61 HRS


                                  Lifetime Home-Run Record
                                  Hank Aaron 755 HRS

                                  Prier to taking steroids, I believe Bonds Season Home-Run Average was 33...





                                  Back to topic, 2K has a good first & last name database, there is plenty of room on the next generation systems to add 1'500 new names each year, for the next several seasons. I loved what The Show is doing this year, we sent in our names that will be announced in their game...

                                      If I started a franchise with the Giants by about the 2nd month into the season Morgan or Miller would say "Barry Bonds has just set the record. He has passed Aaron for the most homeruns. Congrats!" or something like that.

                                          2k never said anything about a name datavase but SCEA is gonna have one. I would be surprised if 2k didn't have one.
