It came on when I hit the power button on my 360. This year looks great though.

The main problem with 2k6 is that is SUCKED big time! I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I played it for 30 seconds.

I think what you should ask is what was right in the game. There are way too many things to list on what was wrong.

That's nothing, I became so ill that I lost it out of both ends....you think the game was a mess, it would be considered a beautiful sight compared to my underwear...

So i'm getting the impression that 2K6 wasn't very good.

2k6 had a lot of annoying little issues, but the hitting and pitching were pretty decent.Since that is most of the game, it just wasn't as bad as it was made out to be.

I am sure this year it will be similar, and yet most folks are going to love it because of the attention to details.

True that hitting and pitching were pretty good, but if fielding and baserunning are atrocious, it pretty much cancels it out.
Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and
                Sutcliffe comes through, and....

I think atrocious might be a bit strong of a word.I think the baserunning was difficult to pick up.The fielding might have had an annoying throwing animation for ground balls, I'm not sure what else was all that bad about the filding.

I think one of the worst things about this game was how they credited Stolen Basers when there were none.

I could swear I read that this was addressed this year. I could be wrong, but I think I read that. but yes that killed the game. In previous years there were fairly easy work arounds to help this issue, but last years was unfixable. Nothing stopped it from happening.

Momentum for both fielding and baserunning was ridiculously overdone. Diving in the field was awful. It was needlessly hard to turn double plays. Ground balls to first were automatic infield hits, as your pitcher was always late to cover. I thought fielding was by far the worst part of a very bad game.

Maybe this was just my difficulty in trying to adjust from MVP, but how were you supposed to know where each of your hitters liked the ball? I understood the whole Inside Edge thing, and trying to guess location with the batter's eye, but I never got a good idea of WHERE I should be looking for pitches with each hitter. I mean come on, in MVP or the Show you just look for a pitch in the red and swing; in 2k6 I always felt like I was fighting not only trying to figure out if the pitch was a strike or not, but if the hitter could do something with it anyway.

Was I really supposed to buy Inside Edge scouting reports for my OWN batters?

This was the only thing that killed the game for me. Rocket arms sucked, but I was able to deal.

Fielding and baserunning for me. Well that and the menus seemed screwy too
?? There was assisted fielding but no auto field.. anyone know if its in this years game??

The braindead management AI was a close second to the rocket arms for me. It sounds like they've toned down the rocket arms this year but have they said anything about the management AI? I have a sneaking suspicion that may still be a lingering problem.
