If they would change that and stop trying to make the game seem like a Espn show, it would be alot better. Trail Line fielding is too annoying, why not use the MVP way isnt the guy from mvp working on it now?, from what I seen of this game it is the same type of Trail Line fielding/gameplay I seen since I tried these games for the first time with MLB 2K5 ps2, just with better graphics.

Ok, but the game will have alot of sliders and settings to change the presentation im sure. All the videos will reflect default settings.

The interview I read mentioned that there is only the default fielding camera. It mentioned that the camera will fluccuate depending on whether it is a ground ball or fly ball, but the camera will be relatively the same as years past. I agree with Joe, I hate the camera. But I think the game looks great and I am excited to try it out next week. I also believe that the gameplay will be improved a lot from years past.

This is actually one of the reasons why I'm going to have to rent the game first. Whatever happened to the good old fashioned fielding cam w/o all these extra camera angles? I don't see why they would leave it out.

I was under the impression the "different" fielding cameras are context sensitive - and the computer controls all of them. Have you heard differently?

i just whis we have a simple arial fielding camera like in mlb the show..thats it....no need to 1st base cut outs and all that fancy tv stuff..

I personally like cutaways and dynamic cameras in situations like a close play at first. They help vary the action and show off player models/stadiums. That said, the option to turn them off is a must.

Where did you see/read this? If that's the case, I will be really happy. But I swear I read an interview (I think it was OS's) that there was only one fielding camera. They felt the gameplay enhancements were more important than working on several fielding cameras.

Joe, the freaking game hasn't even come out yet. Calm down man. Saying you won't buy the game because of a camera angle when you haven't had it in your hands yet is just nuts.

not entirely. Since there's only one view (or perhaps 2-3 preset, context-dependant angles), it is very easy to judge what the game will look like from the many videos that have been posted. Obviously trying it first hand would be advisable - but if fielding cameras really is a dealbreaker for him, I can see why he wouldn't need to buy/rent it to know it doesn't fit his desire.

I just wish the had the fielding camera mvp did. No cutaways for throws to first or double plays. I personally dont like that. Hope there is some camera options.
