The only thing that would stop this from being like the day NFL 2K5 came would be its performance last year. With NFL 2K5, it was the year ESPN was a big part of that game, and it was also being talked about the one chance they had to beat Madden. I still remember how IGN gave Madden a slightly higher score over 2K5, and I my one question was, "Why?!"

MLB 2K8 will most likely have that feel. Also, NBA 2K8 will definately have it.

And most of all, All-Pro 2K8 will have it.

I normally don't get too anxious for games, but I really hope Gamestop does a midnight opening for All Pro 2K8, because I know I'm not going to be able to sleep that night. I will be like a kid on Christmas Eve.

I know how you feel dQ. I was definitely psyched to play MVP NCAA Baseball since 2k ripped the MLB License from them.

This game does have alot of anticipation. A few minutes ago there were over 270 people viewing the mlb2k7 forums at 2ksports.com and theres alot of people here as well waiting on this game. Im one of them..

If Ea wants to stay in the baseball market, they are going to need to do that. I doubt it. It seems like they can't go any further in the gameplay.

If we can only merge 2ks graphics with MVP's gameplay. We would have the perfect baseball game.

I think that's what Brinkman is going for over the next few years. Obviously it won't be just like MVP, but I think it will grow into the product MVP would've been now had it stuck around, but with better graphics and a much better online setup. Also without features removed for next-gen.
