I would be cautious buying any games from 2k or EA on the ps2 or xbox. Through other releases they both have shown that they are going through the motions and not really investing any quality time with those consoles. They have moved on to the next phase, ps3 and 360.

I'm only buying this game for Xbox if the word of mouth on these boards is good. I'm counting on some generous soul (still stuck in "old gen" with me) who will post their impressions. If it's 2k6 with a roster update, I will avoid it and hope I can get a controller that will work my old HH2k2 on XP.
Overall, I was happy with the progression of NBA 2k6 to 2k7 on the old black box, though it's not as good as the 360 version.

If Choops 2K7, and NBA 2K7 are any indication stay away!!! 2K seems to have good intentions on adding to the PS2/XBOX version but the development time and execution just falls flat.
