That's some BS right! They announce it goes gold so then they just decide..."ah the hell with the Top 15 stuff"... "These guys will have the game in 4 days." People want to know the TOP 15 @ each pos. Give us the damn info.

We are spoiled, I agree.

I don't see why it's necessary to see all of these ratings for the players when we're going to have the game in a few days anyway. I only click the Top 15 links to see the screenies... I didn't even look at any of the ratings.

To each his own Blzer. I want to see where they have my Philly guys rate at. Ryan Howard better be #2 behind Pujols, and Utley better be the best 2nd baseman in the game. They already made Jimmy Rollins too low. I think they have Hanley Rameirez rated higher than J-ROLL! That is some BS! J-ROLL lead all NL SS in HR, and he was in the top5 in every major category among SS, and is a much better fielder than Reyes or Ramierez.

To be honest with you, I hardly look at overall ratings. They don't tell you much.

If you have ever played 2K3/2K4, you could edit players and watch the overall rating rise while you do it. Well, one thing that you'll instantly notice is that the AVG rating is perhaps the highest weighted rating of all of them. Perhaps they changed the weights this time around, I don't know. But I look at individual ratings and at what the guy specializes in. Perhaps Power has a higher weight than HR, or perhaps Contact has a higher weight than Speed, or perhaps Glove has a higher weight than Throwing Power, etc. The overall rating will only say how well a guy is overall based on said weights. If the weighting was shifted to other attributes in other ways, I can guarantee that you would see Jimmy Rollins be a higher rated shortstop than Hanley Ramirez.
