Does anyone know if the Xbox version has been revamped as well?

Being a broke/poor student, I don't have the funds to upgrade to the "next gen" systems, and so I'm still having a ball with my Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube. Anyways, I really, really wanted to like MLB 2K6 last year on Xbox, but the stupid thing had too many game-breaking flaws and bugs in it that it completely ruined 2 of my GM Mode seasons, and so I gave up on it and just downloaded a roster save for MVP 2005 for Xbox.

Now, as is usually the case when developers go full throttle with next gen versions the second year, the current gen versions remain a literal roster & schedule update. So, does anyone know if Kush actually spent some time to rework the Xbox (and PS2, I suppose) version of MLB 2K7, or have they just devoted virtually all their development time for the Xbox 360 & PS3 versions?

Any help is greatly appreciated, as this is a true gamebreaker for me.

Nobody knows. There's been no info... meaning it will probably be a roster update with some gameplay tweaks. Not sure I'd even get my hopes up that any of those bugs you mentioned were fixed.

Probally wont be a huge upgrade..the new graphic engine was made for next gen systems... xbox 360 being the lead platform for this new engine..reason why the xbox 360 version looks better then the ps3 version.

Dont sweat it though.. the xbox1 version of MLB 2k6 didnt look bad at all..infact i thought it looked pretty good

It's not 'looking good' that he's looking for. He wants to know if the gameplay has been improved and if the bugs have been fixed.

Wow, I thought MLB 2K6 looked terrible on XBOX 1. There was so much grain everywhere, I thought it looked like a Spielberg movie.

Well, it looked like MLB 2K5 - which I owned - and truth is that game was a nice looking game... two years ago.

Last year they stated that they were not even doing it for the xbox. I was suprised when it showed up in blurbs saying it was going to be released.

It wasn't canceled unless Microsoft just didn't approve it recently and they would have to push their efforts back an entire month to fix what needs to be fixed and release it. They'd rather spend that time on current-gen 2K8.

Aw nertz! I guess I'll just download another roster update for MVP 2005, because I already got rid of MLB 2K6. Or maybe I'll try MLB 07, not sure yet.

MVP 05 seems the only solution for me as well. Thanks god they are still updating the game at mvpmods. I have a 360 but MLB 2k7 isn't going to be realesed on PAL. I could play NTSC games on original xbox though. Another option is to trade xbox for a ps2 and get MLB The Show 07...

The way I see is that if you only have an XBox, youre pretty much screwed for baseball games this year. But if you also have a PS2 then I think MLB 07: The Show is the way to go. 2K7 is looking sweet for the 360 and PS3, but I'm also a broke college student who cant afford those yet. But at least Sony put some real effort into improving the PS2 version this year (because they can only release for the PS2 and PS3 and they know not many people own a PS3 right now). So it should be a much better game than last years, which I though was decent. At least I hope its really better.

I was just on 2K's site and didn't find anything regarding such news. The game is still listed as coing out on XBox for 29 bucks...

This sucks. Microsoft's treatment of Xbox owners is making me reluctant to buy a 360.
