Well I just called my local Gamestop, and asked if they would have the game on Monday. He said yes, but they only will give out copies to the people who pre-ordered it.

So I went out to Gamestop to pre-order it (He wouldnt let me do it by phone, which is stupid), and I will pick it up tomorrow after school. I hope to have some impressions on the game by Monday night.

I stopped into my Gamestop last night to pre-order the game. The guy I talked to had no idea when it would come in, but thought Wednesday. I'm pretty sure he's wrong and it's Tuesday though.

Of course, he was too busy trying to get me to pre-order Halo 3, Madden and APF 2K8. I didn't want any of them right now so I had to tell him "No" about 10 times.

PS - I also hate how you can't pre-order by phone. It's not bad for me because Gamestop is less than 5 minutes from my house. I guess they can't take Credit Card numbers over the phone since you have to swipe them at the store. I think you have to put a minimum of $5 per pre-order. I just pay for the entire game. Less hassle when I need to pick it up.

Same here, that way when I walk in to pick it up, all I have to do is give them my reciept, and I'm good to go.

And back to the original post, just called the GameStop here, and they're saying the 27th. Wish I could get it tomorrow night, I'll be coaching some little leaguers Tuesday evening.

Usually preorders get that canned recording from Gamestop reminding you that your preorder will be arriving tommorrow. As of right now, I have yet to recieve that message but Ill still give my Gamestop a call tommorrow (despite the 4 - 8 inches of snow we are supposed to be recieving here in Brooklyn)

I live in Madison, WI and the local Gamestop says that they'll get the game in on Tuesday. I'm still gonna swing by the store tomorrow after class in hope that they'll have it. Anyone else in WI call Gamestop and have them tell you Monday, or is it all Tuesday?

I usually get that recording, but sometimes I just go by the store on the way home and they have it even before. So it's worth a try
I'm not looking foward to that 4-8 inches of snow that we're gonna be hit with though. It was so nice the other day

One more west Coaster here-called everyone-everywhere.........Tuesday. Now,someone at Gamestop said that EVEN if they get it tomorrow,if the release date from corporate says Tuesday,then-you'll have to hope someone could care less about corporate or just forget.
