This is all great news. I might have some renewed interest in picking this game up after work. Off to the impressions thread...

Re: 360 retail ver. vs. demo- stadium graphic question
Yep, I'm picking it up on my way home. Now if they could get rid of those loading screens and fix the crowd noise, I'd be a very happy man.Comment

Re: 360 retail ver. vs. demo- stadium graphic question
I am playing on a 50" Plasma (1080i). It's hard to describe exactly the differences but the uniforms, faces, textures just seem cleaner and more detailed in the retail version. When I first played the demo - graphically i was midly impressed. When i popped in the retail version...I felt the wow factor we all had when we saw the first videos.Comment

For me, everything looks better on the retail version, even the fans walking around the stadium before the game. The color and depth is what I notice to be better.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: 360 retail ver. vs. demo- stadium graphic question
the loading is without a doubt better in the 360 version.
ive only seen that little gray loading box once. well and sometimes when i put in a pitcher.
but its not showing up before a cutscene or anything like it was in the demo.
as far as actual loading before the game i wasnt paying attention to the difference.Comment

Re: 360 retail ver. vs. demo- stadium graphic question
Thanks guys for your input, it helped me pull the trigger on the 360 version.
I was being pretty cautious about throwing down 60 clams based off of the lackluster demo; I was trying to decide if I should just get the PS3 version instead.
I'm more than happy to echo the praise everyone else is giving for the MARKED graphical improvement in the 360 retail version. The colors are more full, the crowds and stadiums do have more detail.... it generally does have much more of the polished, "wow" next gen factor.Comment

Re: 360 retail ver. vs. demo- stadium graphic question
Just wanted to let you guys know that the grass textures in the retail game are better in Shea, the crowd looks better in retail than the demo, and the "loading" is almost completely gone (played a few innings and didn't see it once). I gotta head to the gym now, but the retail definitely seems a touch more polished than the demo. I may have to eat some humble pie.Comment

well, the graphics look much better on the final version to me. I was happy with the demo graphics, but these look so much better. I am playing a day game in ATL and I am in awe of the graphics. Maybe its the day light that makes it look so much better. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: 360 retail ver. vs. demo- stadium graphic question
I felt like coming on here and complaining about Jacobs Field, but then I just got too distracted with everything else (that and I hate complaining). But I must add, the foul lines don't go up the walls in LF & RF, there are no distance #s on the walls, the city-scape seems a tiny bit off, and there is a cafe type thing in CF....and the flag is bigger and closer. But hell, things could be 10 times worse. I love this gameComment
