    Franchise mode

I appreciate all the gameplay impressions that are going on in here. All that stuff is great. However, im a franchise mode guy, and i know nothing about that mode in this game. Any information would really be appreciated. I know the developers were bragging about lots of menus and news tickers. That stuff is great, but thats not the meat and potatoes of franchise mode. This is the kind of stuff id like to know.....

    1) How is player progression? Do new superstars develop at a realisitic pace? Do older guys slowly fade away or do they drop off the map all of a sudden?

    2) How do the minor leagues work? I know they did not put in all 3 levels like MVP, but how many players does each organization have? Do they have minor league stats? If not, how the heck do you know when guys are ready?

    3) On a similar note, how is the draft? Are the scouting reports just a few sentences, or is there a legitimate way to find talent and potential. This was my biggest problem with MVP. You would draft some guy who they said had All Star potential, but then you would get him in game and his upside would be 2 stars out of 5.

    4) How are trading and free agent mechanics? Does the AI make realistic signings and trades? Do the players demand realistic contracts, or will i still be able to sign Matt Holliday to a 5 year 7 million dollar deal when he's just entering his prime?

    5) stat tracking. Are there career stats? a hall of fame?

If anyone is willing to comment on some of this stuff, id really appreciate it. It sounds like the gameplay is more than passable, but you can only play exhibition games for so long. I think alot of people would like some detailed info about franchise mode. Im not expecting anything revolutionary in year 1 of 3, but if its just barebones, im sticking with the MVP 07 mod. Thanks alot
