I don't have the game, and I enjoyed reading the impressions thread but it'd help a lot of us if we had an overall rating of the game instead of "much improved over last year."

I played about 5 innings, got bored and turned it off. My rating is...meh.
I'm sure I'll play it some more but it just didn't excite my like I hoped it would. Maybe I'll get into it more. I still believe MVP 2005 was the best baseball game ever made. -

Its pretty much impossible to give a realistic score without having a few weeks to grind through it... but on a first impressions type thing it seems about 8.5 ish.
Barring any huge game crippling flaws, I imagine most major sites reviews should be somewhere in the 8.0-8.9 range.Comment

i will right now give this game a 7.9
we'll see how the franchise goes and if my players progress and the difficulty of the game as well as the sliders...this could be any where from a 7.9 to an 8.7 in my book. and i mark hard lol
we'll see though, i think it'll end up in the 8.5 range
