I had a rain delay in the first inning of my first game. Nothing special happened, and they came back to play pretty quickly.

I'd imagine they probably have a couple of cutscenes, and maybe John and Joe share an offbeat story while various shots of fans scrambling for cover are shown. That would be pretty sweet. This is all speculation though

It happened to me in my first game. John and Joe talked about the rule for the time it takes for a game to be called after a rain delay and then the umpires called the game. I played a double-header my next game.

^my cousin said they literally called the game, he said it happened in 7th or so and then they pretty much called the game, it was over,yes in exhibition mode.

I just had my first game called due to rain... problem was I was on the phone and wasn't even paying attention until I was back to the main screen lol

Happened to me in my franchise, the game was stopped in the bottom of the sixth, I was ahead, the game was called off and I was awarded the win.

Yep... I had a game called due to rain... and I had one that was completed due to rain... called it in the 6th inning, I lost because of it .

I had the heart of the lineup coming up next too.

Yep.

Opening day it was raining when the game started. The game got called in the bottom of the 1st and I had to play a doubleheader the next day.

During my franchise, I just had a rain delay at the start of the 2nd inning! Way too cool, loving this year's game.
