Ok so is there a check swing or not???????

I have read people say they can by tapping A. And the way the manual says it with the swing stick its imposible to do. And if they left out check swing, wow I mean its no game killer but come on thats a basic part of baseball thats how in MVP, MLB (even though the check swing sucked) I got most of my walks. Please anyone know how to do this let me know

Yeah, I hear ya man. With the swing stick it is hard for me to do too. I wish they could of made an easier way to do it. I couldnt do it last year either. Oh well..

W/ the swingstick its easy...When you hold back, release and hold back quickly again. I do it 100% of the time.

I have checked my swing twice in one game. It's not actually tapping the hit button, but instead of pressing it all the way you realize the ball is out of the zone and check your tap. So it's a non tap. But seriously, it does work.

As far as the CPU there are some beautiful checked swings.

So Jim are you saying just press the A button half way and it wont swing? Man Im loving everything else about this game I just wish I could do this.

you don't need subtlety, you doubletap the button

I think your wrong on this, try it tap the button about half way. But It seems like everytime I check swing its always called a strike.

I don't believe that i'm wrong, I can do it every time when I double tap the button. But next game I will try just doing a half tap and see what the heck happens.
