Got to OPTIONS and then CONTROL SETTINGS. If you are using the CLASSIC camera you'll see ZOOM is set at, I think 21. Run it down to "0" and it gives you just a few feet more field of view.

I know guys with big screens said the players seemed to be too really close in.

Wait. I am confused. I am playing this on a widescreen HDTV and I Find the batting view to be too far away. I really do not desire to see 8 feet of field on either side of my batter, at the expense of a smaller strikezone and a harder time picking up pitches. I actually zoomed in my batting view to make a larger strike zone on the screen and allow me to better see pitche movement. However, does this affect the fielding view too? I never noticed but the title of this thread seems to indicate that it does. If I could get a wider view of the field once the ball is in play I may be willing to sacrifice the closer batters view for it. anyone?Comment
