Hit Stick Question

when you are trying to hit to the left or right with a contact swing, how do u do it?

if i want to hit the ball to the left, do i pull the stick down then rotate the stick the left or do i have to do a counter-clockwise 360 with the stick to end up with the stick pushed to the left.

Same with trying to go right, do i just pull down then rotate to the right or do a full 360 clockwise rotation?

Can somebody confirm? thx

I'm not trying to sound like an a$$,but if you have the game why not look in the manual. It also has the same explanation in the game.
Seriously...so many of these questions could be answered if folks would take the time and check out the manual.

All you have to do is pull the stick back, then rotate up to whichever side you want to attempt the hit.
If you push the stick,it will attempt a power swing. The rotate method is for a contact swing.

im not trying to sound like an a$$ either but of course i looked at the manual as well as the in-game tips and it's not clear, it doesn't tell or show you which way to rotate the stick.

and yes, i've read the entire manual and some things are not always clear so I'm asking for clarification.

try this.......

for hitting a ball to RF with a RHB:

pull down

then slide up to the right (which would be counter-clockwise)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

to LF with a RHB:

pull down

then slide to the left (which would be clockwise)

He just explained it for you. How can the manual not be any clearer either?

If you would like to try and make a contact-minded swing with the intention of hitting the ball to LEFT field, you would pull back on the right stick to make your batter step, and then use a circular motion to move the right stick towards the left. If done properly, you'll have made a circular sweeping motion on the right stick to end in that position.

Sounds pretty easy to me.

again, it wasnt clear which way to rotate, a quick slide up or full 360 around , get what im saying? anyway, the above poster had the answer im looking for.
