This game would play better if....

There was a way to read the pitch out of the pitchers hand, like seeing a fastball coming or breaking pitch. Something like they had in the mvp series, not color coded, but perhaps a slight animation change or something, so you can see it coming.

As it is set up right now, i feel like i am always swinging like the pitch is a fastball, and am having real trouble laying off of bad pitches. I had little problem with this in MVP, i could regularly draw a walk, and could hit a fastball pretty well. This interface feels more like a guessing game to me. Does anyone else feel the same way? I really hope they implement something like this next year.

I agree. The hitters eye was one of my favorite features of the mvp series. It really it made me feel like I was picking up the spin and at least had a chance .

One thing I would suggest is to slow down the pitch speed a little bit. I was having the same problem and have hjad much more success by slowing the speed down a couple of clicks.

I thought about that, and i might for my franchise, but i like fastballs to actualy look fast. And i also play online a lot, so it wouldnt help me there
