    bad pitching!

Ok, here I am as the pitcher and had ONE hit against me. My pitcher started to throw bad pitches just the first inning, sometimes it would be like the 4th or 5th. Then another hit, out, and continuation of bad pitches. Any idea on how to shut off the bad pitching?

    Re: BAD PITCHING QUESTION

    ? I don't understand the problem.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Are you saying you want to throw only perfect pitches? I don't think I understand.

Ok..u know how in MLB:THE SHOW where the pitcher throws "bad pitches" once in a while. But in 2k7, the pitcher constantly throws "bad pitches" where the catcher couldnt catch it. The player on bases could get to another base/get home freely when the pitcher overthrows the ball.

I finally remember the proper term, what I was trying to say is How to stop the pitch from being a "wild pitch"?

                  Sounds like...

                  A) Your catcher is trying to tell you where to pitch it and you're missing him badly.

                  B) You're not timing your pitches right

                  or

                  C) You're only hitting the button once instead of twice.

Read through the manual and make sure you know how to pitch, first and foremost. I'm not seeing anyone else with the problem you're having.

Are you talking about passed balls? If so you need to understand how pitching works in MLB2k7. You dont aim where you want the pitch to go. This is calle "Breakpoint pitching" You aim where you want the pitch to start to break. For example if you want to throw a sinker, I would suggest you start in the middleof the strikezone or a little above that. If you do this and time the pitching right, your pitch should start high and end low. If you start the pitch at the bottom of the strike zone, the pitch will most likely bounce and you will probably have a wild pitch.
