I have seen posts stating players never come back from the minors when injured and cpu lineups become wacky in season/franchise. Are these facts confirmed?

In the testing i did. They did eventually go back pro but for example both Pujols and Ortiz were in the minors after injuries and sat there the last month or two of the 2007 season. They both continued to sit there for the beginning of the 2008 season. They did both come up during the season and stayed on the pro level from that point.
As for lineups the main one seems to be guys like Beltran, JD Drew, abreu end up batting first alot of the time and some high contract, ok power guys like Jeter bat 4th. I would say about 10 of the teams were doing that kind of stuff.

depends on your definition of broken
its not broken to the extent 2k5 was where i would randomly be short a bench player on certain lineups or have 2 2b and no DH or not be able to start certain players in certain lineups no matter what. I have not found any real gamekilling glitches, but like last few years the cpu AI is just dumb, no real other way to put it. They do stupid things.Comment
