As I was typing my response to the "MLB 2K8 Wish list" Post - it was deleted! This is actually the best time to post your wishes because the devs are looking to see what people think. Bring it back, I say!
First off, I love this game and look forward to logging many hours behind my 360!!
Here was my response to the deleted wish list thread...
My initial thought when I saw this thread was to throw it out because the game just released. However! This is the time when the devs are seeing what people have to say about the game they just put out <<AND>> this is where they get the ideas on what to put in the next iteration of the game.
So having said all that, let's keep the comments tailored to what improvements you would like to see in MLB 2K8. To make it easy, number your "wishes" from most wanted to least wanted.
Here's mine:
1. Crowd noise. The crowd quiets down way to quick when a big play happens (e.g. clutch strikeouts, homeruns/any run scored by the home team, when the star player comes to bat, etc.).
2. Additional fielding camera angles.
3. Foul ball slider.
4. Actuation of retractable roofs when inclement weather is present.
5. "Baseball Tonight" show, or equivalent, to really take the presentation to the next level. Maybe integrate some talk radio broadcasts talking about hot/cold teams, players, etc., into the franchise mode when not playing in a game. To take it even further, how about in-game highlights from around the league during breaks between innings. Now that would be hot!!
